Requesting a manual transition from Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS to Red Hat Enterprise Linux Advanced Platform

If you require more than four guest instances of virtualization or are going to implement Red Hat's clustered storage solution before your Red Hat Enterprise Linux Subscription Renewal, you can request to be transitioned to Red Hat Enterprise Linux Advanced Platform by contacting Customer Service at customerservice@redhat.com. The transition is done automatically at renewal.

Red Hat will manually transition all Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS subscriptions in your Red Hat Network account to Red Hat Enterprise Linux Advanced Platform. Unfortunately, it is not possible to upgrade only a portion of your AS subscriptions.

This is a manual process and Red Hat's goal is to accommodate these requests within 45 days.
